The beginning of the day today was spent on our airplane. I passed the time watching movies (and sleeping through some of them). After a pancake breakfast, we landed in Miami.
I can’t say it was easy getting through customs and immigration, but we made it. After a couple hours (and a wonderful double chocolate Dunkin Donut), we boarded a connecting flight to Nashville. The gate was like no gate I’d ever seen before, and we actually boarded the plane from an outdoor walkway. On this flight, I slept almost the whole time.
After landing and gathering our things, it was finally time to head home. We rode on the Bellevue Church of Christ bus back to the church building, and then we made it back to our own house. Tonight, we ate at Pizza Perfect as celebration for a vacation well done. Even though I’m tired out of my mind, I’m so glad I’ve had the opportunity to go on this wonderful trip. I learned so much, and I hope to one day go back in years to come.
