New Converts in Namasigue and Boca

As a follow-up to my presentation tonight at Maple Hill Church of Christ, the following is a list of the individuals who made a commitment to Christ in baptism during our recent mission trip to Namasigue and the Island of Boca in southern Honduras. Such a blessing to be back with Marlon and Javier this week in Namasigue. These men are dedicated servants of Jesus Christ, and it is always a privilege to work with them. They are my brothers and my friends. Today was our last day in Namasigue, before heading to the Island of Boca tomorrow. Such a great week so far! Please pray for the 13 new brothers and sisters that have committed their lives to Christ this week in baptism!

Rejoicing with our new brother and sisters in Christ after their baptism. Today was another incredible day in Namasigue. We welcomed 1 new brother and 5 new sisters into God’s kingdom today. These included Emerson Beningo Armas, Marcia Armas along with her 2 daughters Karen Daniela and Keyli Melissa Bonilla, Betty Argelia Velasquez, and Maris Bonilla. Please pray for these new converts! Praise God!!

Baptizing Juana Albertine Armas into Christ using a Pila (wash basin), because she has no use of her legs. Today was a great day in Namasigue. We started with a fantastic worship service, and then I had an opportunity to study with Juana as she waited for the medical brigade. In the afternoon we visited with a number of members of the local church to deliver food and offer encouragement. We also had the opportunity to study with a couple that has recently been visiting. Please keep praying for our group and this wonderful community.

Namasigue, Honduras Mission Trip

The Maple Hill group made it safely to the Mission Lazarus Posada in southern Honduras and is about to sit down for our nightly devotional. Tomorrow we will travel to Namasigue for morning worship and then to setup the medical brigade.

We would appreciate your prayers for our safety and success in reaching souls for Jesus Christ. Looking forward to a great week.
