Today began our two-week family trip along the Mediterranean, and I am so excited! I’ve been looking forward to this trip for such a long time. Honestly, I say today even though I’m writing it on day two— the plane ride makes it feel like one gigantic day.
Our day started early in the morning on an 8:45 flight to Dallas, Texas. Beforehand, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at 8&R Coffee (where I did not order coffee).
We had a very lengthy layover in Dallas, especially with our flight into Rome being delayed by over an hour, but we definitely utilized it well, enjoying a delicious meal at TX/MX and posing for a photo op in the airport.
After boarding the flight to Rome, we settled right in. I spent most of the flight watching movies and some of it trying (and failing) to nap. Overall, the travel went fairly smoothly. I’m so excited for our upcoming tours in Rome!
