Yesterday Kate and I hiked the Fiery Gizzard trail to Raven Point (and back) for a total of 12 miles. Definitely the most technical trail I’ve ever tried, but it was a lot of fun experiencing it with my daughter. #hiking #family #fierygizzard

When Sara started training for cross country at the beginning of summer she had absolutely no running base and today she just ran 5K (3.1 miles) with no walk breaks for the first time. So proud of how hard she has been working and it has been a lot of fun running with her as she steadily progresses. #family #running

Final training run for this girl before she leaves for church camp tomorrow. It has been a lot of fun watching Sara get stronger and stronger as she prepares for middle school cross country. Today we did a 4-minute warmup walk, 15-minute run, 1-minute walk, 15-minute run, 2-minute cool down walk. She rocked it. #family #running

Took a break this afternoon to catch @matkearney perform a set from the back of a box truck in the parking lot at @grimeys. He is such a great performer and his new album is fantastic. Also…this is the third time I’ve had the opportunity to meet him and he is always so nice and personable. #music #livemusic
